LIVING THE SWEET LIFE

Hi, I'm Melissa. Born and raised in St. Louis, I've been the sole maker + designer behind Villa Design for nearly twenty years. I've always had a passion for creating jewelry, which first started back in 2003 when I took glass beadmaking class at Craft Alliance. It then evolved into metalsmithing, which I'm mostly self taught, taking a few classes at St. Louis Community College.

Now, by using basic metalsmithing techniques such as sawing, hammering and soldering, I create jewelry that combines glass, precious metals, gemstones and hand casted botanicals.

Each piece of jewelry has touches of a vintage aesthetic with a modern twist... perfect for free-spirited soul.☮


OH WAIT... THERE'S MORE...

While my main focus is jewelry, I do create small line of home goods such as winestoppers, canapé knives and sugar spoons along with floral resin barrettes.

Also, I do love using my graphic design skills to create a fun line of stickers and magnets (I like to joke that each sticker is reflective of my personality).
